Lisa A. Velardo, CPA

Founder and Managing Director

Ms. Velardo brings extensive financial and operational experience to Aspen’s clients in a broad range of private industries. She offers strong financial management expertise in the areas of financial operations and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, revenue recognition, strategic planning, cash flow management, mergers and acquisitions, Board and investor relations, technical accounting and taxation.

Prior to founding Aspen Consulting, Lisa held various senior financial management positions in a diverse range of industries including life sciences, technology and service organizations. In addition to her finance operational roles, Lisa served as Director of Finance at the private equity firm Watermill Ventures. While at Watermill, Lisa worked on the diligence, acquisition, repositioning and sale of middle market companies and provided financial advisory services to portfolio companies.

Lisa has been a CPA in Massachusetts since 1997 and started her career at the regional accounting firm of Tonneson & Company, CPAs. She received a B.S. in Business Administration with high honors from Merrimack College.


Chantal Kokaram

Client Services Manager

Chantal is a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in accounting and human resources. Chantal has extensive experience in various industries and most recently has worked in high technology manufacturing and non-profit organizations. She has an undergraduate degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Tufts University.

Prior to joining Aspen Consulting, Chantal was the Manager of Finance at S2 Security Corporation where she was responsible for the overall operations of finance department and supervising the accounting staff. Prior to S2, Chantal held various Controller level accounting and finance positions. In her previous roles she was responsible for all accounting functions including financial reporting and analysis, cash flow management, development and implementation of internal controls, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and HR management.


Jamie Palme

Jamie Palme

Client Services Manager

Jamie is a strategic operational professional with a strong background in accounting. Jamie has a broad range of experience with start-up companies and small businesses and also has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Taxation from Suffolk University.

Prior to joining Aspen Consulting, LLC, Jamie was the Accounting and Office Manager at Eleven, LLC. During her time at Eleven, she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, payroll and HR management.

Prior to Eleven, Jamie held various accounting positions in consulting and manufacturing environments. In addition to her strong operations and financial management experience, Ms. Palme has lived abroad in Mexico where she helped launch the start of a high precision manufacturing company.
